Don't you see that children are God's best gift? The fruit of the womb his generous legacy? Like a warrior's fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children! Your enemies don't stand a chance against you; you'll sweep them right off your doorstep. Psalms 127:3 (The Message)

What do you think?
Let me hear from you for a bit...I'm starting to feel all alone on my blog. Are you reading it? Do you agree with any of it? Share a cool website, scripture or tell a funny story. What do you think is important when it comes to raising godly children? Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thank you for letting me know you check in from time to time. It means a lot to me that something I may share could be of encouragement to you. You are a precious Mom! I will keep writing down what God lays on my heart. May it be a blessing to you.
ReplyDeletehi, jennifer
ReplyDeletei read your blog and it is very couraging to try to stay on the right path. i have had jesus in my life for a long time but being a young mom it is hard sometimes to keep my cool when akeysha is acting on the terrible 2s and amelia is screaming her head off. i do not know how my mom reared us being a single mom, becuase i need the help sometimes. my neice lives with me and our house has the lord our savior in it but she just does not agree. she believes that humans made him up and she belives there is a higher power out there but not jesus or god. if you ever get a myspace look me up.
love
crystal
god bless you and your family
Hi Crystal ~ I know how you feel when one baby is crying and the other is one is throwing a fit...I have to repeat over and over to myself that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me...and that when Allie is up "still" through the night that I need to praise God that she is healthy. It is hard when your are tired and getting broken sleep. It really is normal to feel the way you do and every mom will tell you that she feels that way from time to time. The best thing we as moms can do is ask God to help guide us each day and for His wisdom. You are a great mom and your girls are blessed to have you.
ReplyDeleteI will pray for you and for your niece. Your Christian witness to her speaks louder than you can imagine. Each time you talk to her, a seed is planted. Keep your chin up and let God carry you when things are tough. His arms must be getting tired when it come to me!
Blessings to you!

ReplyDeleteYour Brother,
BRAD
I am so blessed to have such a GREAT family! Brad...I actually admit that you are my brother LOLOL! We enjoyed getting to visit with you as well. Come see us when you get a change away from your busy life! And to my Krazy2 cuz from Alabama...I claim you too! It has been a long time since you were lugging me around while I was still in diapers! Then the 70's hit and I just had to copy your flair-legged jeans (can't remember the "real" name!) Then the 80's & 90's flew by...so here we are still taking one day at a time...growing older is not as bad as I thought it would be!
